The classes are held at the address listed on the home page. It is a residential home with a complete class room setup.

The shooting portion is held on private land, with a scaled down range to accommodate the concealed carry requirements. The land is located approximately 10 minutes from the class location. In the event of poor weather conditions the range portion will move to Crossfire.

The class maximum seating is 20 people, but average size is 15 which leaves time for class discussion.

I am currently certified in 20 local counties to include all surrounding counties of Jackson County. It only takes approximently a week to obtain any additional counties and does not need to be completed before you attend class. While in class I collect all county information from students, if there are any counties beyond the ones I currently hold, paperwork is submitted the next bussiness day. 

There are no additional charges for the class, however there will be a fee at the Sheriff office in the amount of no more than a hundred dollars. Most counties are significantly less.

You can provide your own weapon if you like but it is not required. I provide 22 caliber weapons for qualification. If you decide to bring your own weapon please provide 50 rounds of ammunition.

Classes start at 8:00 am.

Missouri permit is honored in the state of Kansas where the Utah permit is not. Missouri has more written agreements with other states than Utah. The Missouri permit is gaining more states consistantly. Also new law for Utah states Missouri residents must have a missouri permit in order to apply for Utah permit.

The current number is 38 states that honor Missouri's permit, this includes Missouri.

No more than $180 dollars, with the cost of my class included. Depending on the county you live in, it could be lots less.

The requirements of the state are that it lasts 8 hours.

Qualification is 20 rounds with both a semi-auto and a revolver at a distance of 7 yards. Target is a B-27 , which is basically an average size persons body waist to head. Anything hitting in or on the edge of the outline counts.

All ages are welcome and should be taught good gun saftey. You can apply for a concealed carry permit at the age of 21. So any age to gain gun saftey training, but 21 to use the class to apply for a CCW permit.
